“Forgiveness” does not always lead to healing trauma. In researched-based trauma therapy we don’t focus on “forgiveness.” We focus on acknowledging/accepting/healing the fragmented “parts” within us. These are the parts that developed during the traumatic event to PROTECT us and assure our SURVIVAL! . This week I will be writing about the concept of the “fragmented selves of trauma survivors” from the perspective of trauma therapy expert Dr. Janina Fisher Art by #geneszafran . . . . #innerchild #healing #selfcare #mentalhealth #spirituality #yoga #mindfulness #selfawareness #innerchildwork #awakening #healingjourney #complexptsd #higherconsciousness #cptsdrecovery #meditation #healyourself #ptsd #cptsd #health #traumahealing #complextrauma #art #retroart #scifiart
