If you are considering trauma therapy, please know that when properly trained, a trauma therapist will NEVER ask you for any details of your memories, will NEVER ask for a scene-by-scene retelling! This is inappropriate, re-traumatizing and UNNECESSARY for healing from childhood trauma. In researched-based trauma therapy we ACKNOWLEDGE the trauma (the past) WITHOUT explicitly talking about it!
